STUDENT TRAVEL GRANTS
Student Travel Grants
We are committed to helping students attend the 69th IEEE International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS 2026) in Cincinnati, Ohio. Two distinct financial assistance opportunities are available to support student attendance:

NSF Student Travel Awards: Available only students affiliated with a US-based institution.

IEEE CASS Student Travel Grants: Available to all students, regardless of whether they are based in US or abroad.
Please find details below about the application procedure for each opportunity.
Thanks to the generous support from the National Science Foundation (NSF), we provide scholarship awards to selected U.S.-based students attending MWSCAS 2026 in person.
Award Details

- Amount: The minimum financial assistance provided will be $600, depending on fund availability.
- Disbursement: Awardees are expected to register for the main conference and arrange their own travel and accommodation. Reimbursement will be processed after attending the conference upon submission of receipts.
Eligibility

Must be a full-time student (undergraduate or graduate) at a U.S.-based academic institution.

Must provide a support letter from their faculty advisor.

Selection Crieria
These awards are competitive. Preference will be given to:

Students with accepted papers who will present them at MWSCAS 2026.

Students who do not have other means to support their attendance.

Involvement in IEEE events/activities.

Relevance/significance of research activities.

Academic performance.

These grants are sponsored by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) and are open to all eligible student members worldwide.
Eligibility & Criteria (Based on CASS Standard)
While specific 2026 details are still pending, CASS Student Travel Grants generally require applicants to:

Be an undergraduate or graduate student.

Be an active IEEE CASS Student Member.

Have an accepted paper selected for presentation at the conference.

Attend the conference in-person to present the paper.

Not have received a CASS conference grant in the current year.
